Choose just one day, two, three, or all four.

Each day has an exciting theme that will be sure to awaken your child’s sense of wonder and creativity! In addition to thematic activities, every program will include one or more opportunities to explore a new corner of Farrington’s property, whether it be a trail, the pond, the garden, or our farm animals.

Monday, August 19

Animal Crew

From goats, to birds, to bugs, and everything in between, Farrington’s property offers a myriad of ways for children to encounter both wild and domesticated animals. Pond exploration, scavenger hunts, farm animal visits, and more will engage kids in the magic that is having a connection to animal life.

Tuesday, August 20

Enchanted builders

Who are nature’s magical builders? Let’s investigate the enchanted homes that are built in the forest by spiders, birds, and small mammals. Then we’ll build our own! We will use natural materials to create a variety of dwellings that invite creatures big and small.

Thursday, August 22

Fairies & Gnomes

For children that love Farrington’s annual Fairy Festival, as well as for newcomers, this is your day! We will build fairy houses, make crafts, explore the enchanted woods, and play games.

Wednesday, August 21

Let’s Make Mud!

This day is for the child that loves to get messy! We will playfully experiment with mud painting, mud kitchens, making art with natural tints, and more. A hose is available for cleaning up before going home.
