Join us three Thursdays in March for Nature Magic programs at the Waltham Public Library.
Come for one program, or all three. Bilingual (English-Spanish) and rain or shine! For ages 5-9, but younger or older children are welcome
March 14: Animal Tracking
14 de marzo: Huellas de animales
Have you ever wondered which animals are wandering in the forest this time of year? We will use movement and a craft to learn more about how to read the signs deer, squirrels, rabbits, and their many friends leave behind.
March 21: Let’s Get Growing!
21 de marzo: ¡Sebrámos y crecémos!
After a long winter, the first signs of green can feel like magic. Children will learn about creative ways to grow things, make and enjoy a salad, and take home something special that they can plant.
March 28: Mud Painting
28 de marzo: Pintando con barro
Do you like to get your hands dirty? We will playfully experiment with mud painting and ways to magically make colors using materials found in nature. We suggest bringing a change of clothes just in case.
