Nov 4th: Mindfulness: Come spend some
screen-free time outside
Come join the staff from Farrington Nature Linc and Friends of the Woodlands and Waters as we explore the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge. This is a family-friendly event that will include hands-on nature activities, as well as games, tools and ideas on how to engage with nature, and your local national wildlife refuge.
Be prepared to walk in the woods, run in the grass, and get a little messy. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Best suited for families with children aged 6-12 years. Registration is limited to 15 total for each individual program, combination of adults and children, and sign ups are required. This is not a drop off class but rather a fun, family program!
Participant Releases to be signed on arrival at the programs.
Weather considerations:
-light rain, we will still run. A reminder will be sent the day before.
-heavy rain/ thunder/lightning- will cancel, and we will notify participants if the program is rescheduled
