Minecraft Forest and Fairies: A 2-Day Outdoor Adventure
For Curious & Creative 3rd–5th Graders
Join us for one or two days of programs designed to encourage creativity and engagement in the outdoors. Each day we will spend time in nature learning and playing games inspired by Fairies or Minecraft.
Dates: June 24 and June 26 (Join us for one or both)
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Day 1: Fairies and Flower Art
Let your imagination take flight! We'll spend the day immersed in nature and creativity as we explore the magical world of forest fairies.
Activities Include:
Go on a magical scavenger hunt looking for gems in the forest
Make your own fairy wands
Engage in flower art (possibly to include solar art, painting with flowers, hammering flowers into fabric)
Day 2: Minecraft IRL – Survival & Strategy
Inspired by the game kids love, this real-world adventure teaches basic survival skills through fun, screen-free challenges.
Activities Include:
Shelter-building challenge (teams "craft" using real sticks & tarps)
Fire safety demo & campfire-building basics
Orienteering with compass and map
Team survival games: resource gathering & “mob” defense
What to Bring:
Lunch & 2 snacks (nut-free)
Refillable water bottle
Closed-toe shoes & comfy outdoor clothes
Bug spray, sunscreen, hat
Extra clothes in case of mud or water play
