Farrington Nature Linc Presents "Into our Woods: 4 days of Outdoor Learning, Play and Adventure!"
Four outdoor days of apples, animals, adventure and acorns for curious kids ages 8 and up. Sign up for all 4 dates or just 1 or 2.
This November go "Into Our Woods" at Nature Linc. Join us for a four-week, hands-on series built around the things kids notice most this time of year: crunchy apples, busy animals, crackling campfires and acorns underfoot.
We've picked days that help with childcare (Election Day and Veterans Day). Perfect for homeschool families who want to take advantage of time outside with external educators.
Each day blends outdoor skills with science, art and a little bit of history, meeting early learning goals while feeling like pure adventure to the kids.
• Real hands-on learning. Use the cider press, build shelters and track animals
• Small-group, mixed ages 8+. Siblings can attend together, and older kids get to lead.
• Skills that stick. Fire safety, observation, teamwork and nature journaling carry over to future academics
• Unplugged and outside. Hours of fresh air, mud and movement
Programs will be run by our staff member, Katie DiBasio, M. Ed. Katie has spent the last few years teaching grades 1st-4th in area public schools. Katie is also a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient.
